There is but ONE SAVIOR , Christ , and He is the only one qualified in all respects to save. LET'S SEE WHO IS OUR SAVIOR
a) Christ before the Incarnation :
"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive, and will give birth to a son, and will call his name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14; and, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. This was in the beginning with God… And that Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we saw his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father), full of grace and truth. " John 1: 1-2, 14
Jesus did not become Son because he was born of the Virgin Mary, in was Son from eternity. His Name was LOGOS, He is Christ in his eternal pre-existence. Logos means "word", "reason" and "thought" from the Greek. As the logos of man is the faculty of reasoning, it is the thought conceived inside the mind then expressed by the vehicle of language, thus Christ is the manifestation of God. Jesus Christ has made God known to us and has interpreted him to us, because in himself God is infinitely distant from the limits of our knowledge.
b) Christ Incarnate:
He gathers in Himself a complete divinity and a perfect humanity. There is no other being comparable to Him, neither in the bosom of God, nor among angels, nor among men. He is a TEANDRIC person, who is as God as the Father and the Holy Spirit, but with the difference that none of them has been hypostatically united with a human nature. Jesus contained all the authentic features of a human being, but no other human being has ever been united with divinity in such a way. 1 Timothy 3:16
Such condition allowed him to exercise the three most important trades for the benefit of humanity:
Prophet : being a channel or means of communication through which the message of God is transmitted to men. It includes His work as a MEDIATOR, since it represents God before man and at the same time man before God. The office of prophet is twofold: predicting and proclaiming. In the Old Testament the prophet was called the man of God, later as the seer (since he can see by God what the common man is denied), and finally the prophet was called him. So what he has seen is expressed in both prediction and proclamation: Matthew 4:17
Priest : It was written that the Messiah was to be a Priest after the order of Melchizedek (Psalm 110: 4). Except for this specific statement, Israel could not have heeded a priest who did not come from Levi through the line of Aaron. Jesus was from the Tribe of Judah and a priest would never come from there. Hebrews 5: 5-6, 10
King : Son of David is His Jewish name that relates Him to His legitimate claim to David's throne. That he would reign from there forever is predicted by Scripture. Isaiah 9: 6-7
c) Christ in His Death
Great are the triumphs of Christ through the Cross, which extends to the transformation of all things on earth and in heaven. But in relation to the human being, he rescues him from complete perdition and makes him his dwelling place. Galatians 2:20: “With Christ I am crucified together, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me; and what I now live in the flesh, I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. "
d) Risen Christ.
While I was alive, His deity was veiled, and though without stain of sin, He could hardly be distinguished from other men in His dealings with people. But the resurrection revealed His divinity and allowed the glorification of His humanity. Through His Resurrection he became what he always has been and what he will always be, as well as what before him no one had ever been: a glorified man in heaven!
e) Christ Ascended and Seated in Heaven.
Although he accompanies each of his own until the end of the world, locally he is present in heaven, seated on the Throne of his Father and there exercising the ministry of Savior of lost men, of Head in all things of the Church redeemed, and Preparer of a place for the children that He himself will introduce into Glory. “Who having ascended to heaven is at the right hand of God; Angels, authorities and powers are subject to him. " 1 Peter 3:22
f) Christ Who Returns.
Revelation 19: 11-16. The ability of human language is put to the test in passages like this one that describe the Second Coming of Christ.
g) Christ reigning forever.
By the authority of the Father, the Son will reign forever on David's throne and assume total control of this land. Luke 1: 31-33.
